MSC Croisières – Business Developer Belux (NL/FR)

MSC Cruises is the market-leading cruise company in the Mediterranean, South Africa and Brazil and operates throughout the world. MSC Cruises operates throughout the year in the Mediterranean and in the Caribbean. It also offers a wide range of seasonal routes in Northern Europe, the Atlantic Ocean, French Antilles, South America and South Africa, as well as in Abu Dhabi and the United Arab Emirates. Our modern fleet consists of 15 ships (with another 14 under development).

In order to broaden the scope of its sales team, MSC Cruises is currently looking for a motivated and flexible Business Developer (NL/FR)


Day to day follow-up of key accounts

  • Analysis and sending the numbers to the key partners on a monthly basis
  • Elaborating a yearly commercial plan with commercial director and the partner including a promotional calendar, establishing commercial targets, eventual overcommissions, contract.
  • Regular follow up and evaluation of the commercial plan

Creating new opportunities with key accounts (existing and new)

  • Based on past experiences try to create new business formulas
  • Try to reproduce best practices to new business accounts
  • Prospect for new B2B2C business

Day to day support of the actual sales team

  • Meetings to share best practices and coaching them to close deals with the good approach
  • Coach them on best suitable product for the deal in discussion
  • Check agenda’s and reports (Sales force)
  • Be the key point figure for and when sales force is up and running
  • Clearly segment the distribution (DTS/Sales Force/Eventual other upcoming projects)

Close and transparent collaboration with commercial director

  • Weekly ‘business’ meeting with agenda points and minutes
  • Reactive follow up and reports after meetings with new and existing partners

Your Profile:

  • Good  knowledge of Dutch/French/English
  • At least 4 years’ experience in the tourism sector in a commercial function
  • Analytical skills
  • Team player but also able to work autonomously
